About Me

I’m a computer programmer and writer from Kent in the United Kingdom.

I studied at the Manchester Metropolitan University where I got a 1st Class Honours in Software engineering. My commercial experience includes time at the National Computing Centre, Manchester Metropolitan University, and BEC as well as being a consultant and self-employed.

Apart from that I’m a writer; I produce computer nonfiction books, and also love to write fiction.

I live on a smallholding in Kent where I look after Hebridean sheep as well as a small vegetable plot and gardens. In the summer I still mow the hay field by hand. I try to avoid the adders in the field when at all possible.

That’s about it for my ‘about page’. I enjoyed writing this almost as much as you’ll have enjoyed reading it.
